"Lord of the bush, a massive boab tree, close relative of the African and Madagascan baobabs, stands solitary near Wyndham in the Kimberley region. Scientists conjecture that baobab fruit rafted on flotsam from Madagascar about 75 million years ago, taking root on Australia's northwest coast, where they are largely confined, growing both singly and in immense forests."
