一个女孩垂直跳入位于波多黎各加勒比国家森林的一条河里。那里又名“下午云雀”，距首都圣胡安仅一个小时的车程，那是美国森林服务体系中唯一的热带雨林，是在1876年由西班牙国王最初拨款保护的。

图文是为2003年3月《国家地理》的专辑“波多黎各本色：分裂的中心”准备的，但最终未使用。

Girl Jumping into Water, Puerto Rico, 2003

A girl free-falls into a river in Puerto Rico's Caribbean National Forest. The area, also called El Yunque, is just an hour's drive from the capital, San Juan, and is the only tropical rain forest in the U.S. Forest Service system. It was first set aside as a reserve by the king of Spain in 1876.
